This course focuses on the study of how data is transmitted and received over communication networks. Topics include network architecture, protocols, network security, and network management. This course covers the underlying principles of networking and how to design, implement and troubleshoot networks. Students will learn about different types of networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks (Wi-Fi). This course also covers different communication technologies, such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, and the OSI model.

This course provides an overview of the Computing Industry and Computing profession, including Research and Applications in different fields; an Appreciation of Computing in different fields such as Biology, Sociology, Environment and Gaming; an Understanding of ACM Requirements; an Appreciation of the history of computing and knowledge of the Key Components of Computer Systems (Organization and Architecture), Malware, Computer Security, Internet and Internet protocols, HTML 4/5 and CSS.

This course will focus on becoming acquainted with graphic design techniques, principles of page layout and design, and photo editing. Various software, including Adobe Photoshop and Canva, will be used in this course. The Course is structured in a way to cover the comprehensive major and minor subjects related to graphic design.
