This course provides an overview and introduction of the interaction of meteorology and hydrology in the environment. Students explore the foundational concepts such as Earth's atmosphere and composition, the energy balance, and seasons as it relates to weather variability and climate change discourse. It addresses moisture concepts such as humidity, stability, clouds, and precipitation and precipitation processes and its role in air quality. Students also tackle hydrological processes and their implication to environmental management such as water quality and conservation.
