This course allows
students to explore importance and purposes of irrigation and drainage in achieving
sustainable agriculture. It also guides students in the engineering design
principles involved in addressing challenges in deficit and excess water in
crop production. Using design and futures thinking, students harness the trends
of technologies in designing irrigation and drainage systems.
