Economic theory provides a wide range of models and concepts for analyzing markets and prices that generates insights on how the market economy operates. In today’s world, a successful business practitioner has to be familiar with the economic way of thinking about markets using economic models and principles. The aim of this course is introduce the economic theory of the role of prices and the different approaches to agricultural marketing analysis to enable students to independently apply the theory to practical agricultural marketing and agricultural product pricing issues. |
